Rain or shine, we still ballin’!

It’s been a while since I’ve uploaded pictures for Throwback Thursday.

Had to shoot another #Hyperlapse driving back across the #GoldenGateBridge toward #SanFrancisco mainly because I found the MOST PERFECT SONG to drive across the bridge to. #timelapse #CityByTheBay #Fullhouse #ILeftMyHeartInSanFrancisco (at Golden Gate Bridge)

Re-uploading the previous #Hyperlapse video but added music with #Lomotif. #SanFrancisco #GoldenGateBridge #ILeftMyHeartInSanFrancisco #timelapse #CityByTheBay

Walking through the frozen dessert section, Elisa points out and says, “Ooohh pumpkin ice cream mochi!” One of the workers hears her and goes, “You wanna try it?” then rips the box open and let’s us pick up a whole piece. Can they do that?!

Levi’s Stadium tour

This past weekend, we had a tour of the new Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers. It was my first time checking out any sort of stadium this in depth and up close, so it was definite a great experience to see what things looks like behind the scenes.

Another typical Friday game night.

Had a very eventful weekend with the future wifey shopping for a wedding venue. We managed to squeeze in 4 venues this weekend and going to try to squeeze in some more South Bay and North Bay ones hopefully next weekend.

We decided to break in Elisa’s new CRV as it only had 35 miles on it before we racked up some miles this weekend driving to San Jose and Pleasanton. I was kinda scared to drive it because it was so new and I didn’t want any scratches on it.

The Corinthian Grand Ballroom in San Jose was a good deal and our best bet so far price-wise. If money wasn’t an object, than we would definitely chose Hayes Mansion. But before we make any decisions, we want to check as out as many venues as we can to compare them with one another before selecting a venue.

Casa Real and Palm Event Center in Pleasanton were both pretty nice, but Casa Real would have been a better choice. Unfortunately, we’ll probably have to scratch those two off the list as they are already pretty booked up for October 2015. We also did a last minute drop in tour at the Wedgewood Metropolitan in Oakland and we pretty disappointed. The venue for the wedding itself wasn’t all that beautiful and I didn’t like the fact that the golf course was so close. The tent where the reception is held was pretty damn small as well.

We’ve decided to not bother with any of the venue that are part of a hotel or golf course as we don’t want non-wedding guests just walking around, so we’re going to stick strictly to mansions, wineries, estates and other places that are just for events only.

Going to try and book some more venues for the next couple weekends and hopefully come to a decision and at least choose the top 3, which we will then compare the pros and cons and see which venues we week finally book with.

The good thing about going to all these different places is that we’ve been eating at trendy restaurants!

Went down to San Jose today to check out a venue for the wedding and swung by Boiling Crab for some grub. We finally started to break in Elisa’s new CRV.

Board game night!

Shimmery liquor…looks pretty cool. #Viniq #shimmeryliquor #alcohol #vodka #moscato #girlylookingalcohol (at Luckys)

Random praying mantis on my car.

My kind of Friday night. Had dinner with the fiance, stuffing faces with takoyaki and ramen, then game night with the friends.
